Steve Solomon and Matthew Brenner have a combined total of over 25 years’ successful experience representing consumers and small business people in Northern California for disputes involving California’s lemon law, fraud in the sales of vehicles, identity theft victims, wrongful credit damage, and wrongful debt collection.  Among Steven’s accomplishments were two of California’s record-setting lemon law judgments for physically disabled clients.  Steve and Matthew handled a successful appeal that ordered a Marin County judge to grant a low-income senior a waiver of jury fees to obtain her right to a jury trial.

In addition to over 25 years successfully representing consumers, Steve has published articles on consumer law, he has been quoted in national publications, he handled over 50 appeals including achieving landmark legal rights, for over 10 years he testified before the California Legislature in support of new and strengthened consumer laws, he has advised legislators’ staffs about drafting of new consumer laws, he was a founding member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and he was a pro tem judge and judicial arbitrator. Matthew is the recipient of the Wiley Manuel award in recognition of his volunteer efforts.
